Kelowna, BC (April 13, 2016) – Sixteen students from Western Canada will be awarded a RE/MAX 2016 ‘Quest for Excellence’ bursary, valued at $1,000, during their school commencement ceremonies.

The annual RE/MAX Quest for Excellence program encourages graduating students from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories to submit an essay detailing the contributions they have made to their communities. The bursary winners have all demonstrated exceptional motivation, leadership, and communication skills.

“The 2016 recipients are a group of talented Grade 12 students whose actions have benefited each of their communities. It is inspiring to see such tremendous contributions at a young age,” said Marie Sheppy, Manager, Corporate Affairs, RE/MAX of Western Canada. “They are setting great examples for others to follow in their footsteps.”

“RE/MAX is honoured to award this year’s Quest for Excellence Bursary Program winners. These high school students have shown incredible maturity by making a positive impact on their communities at an early age. We’re excited to see what the future brings for each of these young leaders,” said Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President, RE/MAX of Western Canada.

“Congratulations to all of the 2016 recipients!”
