Calgary, AB – RE/MAX of Western Canada — in association with the Western Hockey League, Black & Decker, iRobot and Sherwin-Williams — is excited to announce the Grand Prize winner of the 2016 RE/MAX Home Team Contest.

From March 1 to April 30, 2016, RE/MAX encouraged their clients, friends and Western Hockey League fans to enter the RE/MAX Home Team Contest for the chance to win over $20,000 in home improvement prizes.

The contest received entries from all over Western Canada, with Randy Pollock of Sherwood Park, AB, walking away as the lucky Grand Prize winner.

Randy was awarded the $13,598 grand prize which included $10,000 cash courtesy of RE/MAX, an iRobot Roomba® 980 vacuum cleaning robot, a $1,000 Gift Card to The Brick, $500 in store credit at any Sherwin-Williams location, a 2015 Team WHL Canada Russia Series autographed jersey, and a Black & Decker 40V MAX Cordless Mower.

Todd Lewis of Prince George, BC, was selected as the Secondary Prize winner of an iRobot Roomba® 980 vacuum cleaning robot.

Three additional winners were selected each week throughout the duration of the contest to win prizes from Black & Decker, Sherwin-Williams, and the Western Hockey League, for a total of 30 weekly prize winners.

About the Western Hockey League

The Western Hockey League started with just seven teams based in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta in 1966. The WHL now has representation in all four Western Canadian provinces and the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington. The WHL consists of 22 member Clubs with 17 based in Canadian markets and five in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
